Brief   Create a coffee-table book that surprises, entertains and informs a diverse audience of exhibitors, media and consumers at the world’s largest watch and jewellery show

Solution   Baselworld is a show that features hundreds of exhibitors, from big luxury manufacturers such as Rolex, Omega and TAG Heuer to individual watchmakers who handmake just a few pieces each year. The Baselworld Brand Book (a 578-page printed book and online PDF page-turner) is a companion to the event – a who’s who of the show that tells the brand stories of nearly 300 companies. We’ve elevated the Book above a standard listings catalogue by using inventive branded features and clever editorial ideas to both meet the advertising needs of the exhibitors and excite the show’s consumer visitors. Features bring to life the brands’ unique crafts and processes and take a close look at key watch and jewellery pieces. Interviews provide insight into brand leaders and ambassadors. Elegant production techniques for the print book, including different paper stocks, inks die-cutting and foils, ensure keepability. The brands’ and the industry’s response proves the book was as effective as it is beautiful.
