Calling all subeditors: we want you!

We’re on the hunt for not just one, but TWO talented subeditors to join our sub hub – a chief sub and a subeditor.

The chief sub will focus on business and finance content, while the subeditor will work across Sunday’s exciting portfolio, and be comfortable working in both British and American English.

Both roles require meticulous attention to detail, combining a need for top-notch spelling and grammar skills with an eagle eye for inaccuracies and misplaced apostrophes. You’ll also possess a flair for writing, whether that’s crafting compelling heads, sells and captions, rewriting dull copy to make it sparkle or producing content from scratch.

You should also be a multitasker who remains unruffled in the face of competing deadlines, and have proven experience across both print and digital content.
