The ICAEW Insights podcast is live

Lockdown was a particularly busy time for chartered accountants, who were helping millions of businesses stay afloat while the economy was on pause.
The ICAEW Insights content programme (including Daily, Weekly and Monthly emails, and social activity) has been a lifeline for members, and engagement rates have well exceeded targets.
As the economy re-restarted, ICAEW asked us to help it build on this success and reach an even bigger audience. With offices reopening – and many chartered accountants gradually starting to commute again – one solution jumped out. Welcome to the brand new ICAEW Insights podcast.
Monthly episodes, hosted by Sunday’s Tom Herbert, feature a panel of well-known guests analysing the latest headlines and trends from across the world of business, finance and accountancy. Each 30-minute episode is recorded in a studio and promoted a couple of days later, helping to make sure the news stories are fresh and the perspectives feel timely.
In the first episode, Tom was joined by ICAEW’s Lindsey Wicks and Philippa Kelly, and PwC’s Mike Jervis, to discuss the potential moving of tax year end, Bounce Back Loan repayment options, business restructuring and cryptocurrency.
We’re super proud of the results of the first monthly episode. There were 245 listens in the first week after a soft launch. Full promotion begins in the next few weeks.
As well as the monthly episodes presented by Tom, Sunday is also working with ICAEW to help create one-off episodes and specials focusing on specific topics, from audit reform to the economics of biodiversity.
You can listen to our inaugural episode and subscribe to podcast on all the usual channels, including Apple and Spotify.
