ProjectBrief To create a series of short online videos showcasing key selling points for a range of own-brand and branded appliances
Solution Buyers are faced with a wealth of choice when it comes to large electrical home appliances. In a bid to cut through confusing technical specs and make comparison easier for time-short customers, we created a suite of short animated videos highlighting the key features of a variety of John Lewis own-brand and branded kitchen appliances, from washing machines and tumble dryers to dishwashers and cookers. Using CGI product images overlaid with line graphics and short captions, each video is around a minute long and highlights five or six key features, explaining in simple terms what they mean for customers in practice. The videos sit at product page level on the John Lewis website, helping to replicate the in-store experience of John Lewis’ renowned buying advice and assistance in a digital format.
