Working closely with the content team at Sunday and, on occasion, key client stakeholders, the Social Media Executive has day-to-day responsibility for the delivery of creative, high-quality, and timely content across all social media platforms.
The Social Media Executive will also work with the Head of Social to drive the success of our client’s social media presence, meeting KPIs and monitoring activity to ensure growth across all platforms.
The post-holder will:
- Support the development and management of campaigns, and plan organic and paid delivery for all content, outside of the daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly email programme
- Manage the social workflow across the account
- Assist the creative team in the creation of multimedia content for all social channels, both organic and paid
- Post stories and reels natively where required
- Monitor and report in conjunction with the Head of Social, using tools such as Hootsuite and Google Analytics
- Work closely with the team at Sunday and clients to ensure high-quality, creative content is published in the most timely way
- Monitor relevant news and information websites to help ensure that content is topical and relevant
- Stay up to date with the latest social innovations, platforms, production techniques and technologies required to complete the role
- Support the team with additional projects that require their expertise
The role requires:
- A willingness to learn about accountancy, economics, business and relevant political topics
- A minimum of one year’s experience in writing and editing content
- Excellent knowledge of social media platforms
- Experience in using reporting tools, such as Hootsuite and/or Google Analytics
- Proven ability to work on multiple editorial projects simultaneously, ensuring objectives, goals, and commitments are met
- A passion for content publishing
- A working knowledge of digital publishing platforms
- Strong attention to detail
- The personality to form strong working relationships across the agency and client business, working effectively with a variety of stakeholders
